In this project we created another crab logo animation, prominently using the puppet tools. First step we took was to add the background, lock it, and animate text over it by adding the “Fly in With a Twist” and “Slow Fade On” effects. We then used the scale properties and keyframes to change the size of the crab logo as the video progresses. Using the “Puppet Position Tool”, we added points to the crabs key points in order to lock them down and animate them individually. To rotate the crabs arms and legs we used the “Puppet Advanced Tool”, which we also utilized to create the wave affects on the water background later. Of course all helped by added keyframes on the timeline to actually apply the animations throughout the whole video.
